Job Description

Job Title:Junior Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework.
  • Develop scalable microservices and integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Design teams to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
  • Work closely with Support and Professional Services teams to resolve customer-reported issues.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and application monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Education Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, MCA, MS, or equivalent with a strong academic record.

Experience :-

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python application development.

Technical Skills :-

Python Development :-

  • Strong knowledge of Core Python.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience with data structures, collections, exception handling, and multithreading/concurrency.

Web Frameworks & APIs :-

  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, Django REST Framework, or similar Python frameworks.
  • Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, web services, and API integrations.
  • Exposure to SOAP-based services is a plus.

Cloud & DevOps:-

  • Experience with AWS services including:
  • EC2
  • S3
  • RDS
  • Lambda
  • ECS/EKS
  • CloudWatch
  • IAM
  • API Gateway
  • Secrets Manager
  • Database Technologies
  • Strong SQL skills.

Experience with databases such as:-

  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle
  • Experience with ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

Security & Architecture:-

  • Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
  • Knowledge of API Security.
  • Experience with Authentication and Authorization mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with JWT and OAuth concepts.

Tools & CI/CD :-

  • Experience with:
  • Git
  • Docker
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • GitLab CI/CD

Testing:-

  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions.
