Job Description: Junior Project Manager – Enterprise Data Platform

Role Summary

The Junior Project Manager will help ensure that project activities across discovery, design, third-party tool integration, data foundation implementation, business use cases, testing, training, acceptance, and handover are tracked and executed according to the agreed SOW, project timeline, and delivery governance structure.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Tracking

  • Maintain the integrated project plan, milestone tracker, deliverables register, and action item log.
  • Monitor dependencies involving business SMEs, IT teams, and platform teams.
  • Track planned versus actual progress and highlight delays, risks, and blockers.

Deliverables and Sign-off Management

  • Maintain a deliverables tracker covering FRS, LLDs, configuration guides, SIT reports, UAT reports, design documents, data model documents, governance outputs, training materials, and handover documents.
  • Coordinate review cycles with RCBC and delivery teams.
  • Track comments, document revisions, approvals, and formal sign-offs.
  • Ensure deliverables are stored in the agreed repository or knowledge base.

Risk, Issue, Dependency, and Change Tracking

  • Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Track dependency completion, including BRD availability, source documentation, SME availability, access readiness, environment readiness, test data readiness, and approval turnaround.
  • Support change control by documenting scope deviations, change requests, and impact inputs from delivery teams.
  • Highlight any activity that falls outside signed-off BRD, FRS, or LLD scope.

Testing and Acceptance Coordination

  • Support planning and coordination of SIT, UAT activities.
  • Track test case preparation, test data readiness, test execution, defect triage, retesting, and sign-off.
  • Coordinate with business users, technical users, data engineers, security teams, and delivery leads during testing cycles.
  • Maintain defect logs and ensure ownership, status, priority, and target closure dates are clear.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2–3 years of project coordination or junior project management experience.
  • Experience supporting IT, data, analytics, banking, or enterprise platform projects.
  • Strong skills in project tracking, documentation, meeting coordination, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Familiarity with project governance, RAID logs, action logs, decision logs, and status reporting.
  • Good understanding of SDLC or data platform delivery lifecycle.
  • Ability to coordinate across business, technical, security, and vendor teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
