Job Description

Junior Product Manager

Reports to: Senior/Product Manager

About the role

JoyRide is looking for a Junior Product Manager to support our Senior/Product Managers in driving product execution across our platform. This role owns the day-to-day operational and quality layer of product management, including backlog hygiene, documentation, milestone tracking, and release readiness.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their product career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build a strong foundation in product execution, with a clear growth path toward strategic product ownership.

What you'll do

  • Support day-to-day product operations: assist Senior/Product Managers with backlog grooming, preparing and updating product documentation, tracking project milestones, and gathering feedback from cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Ops, Marketing).
  • Track release readiness: monitor product readiness and scope delivery for releases led by Senior/Product Managers, flagging risks or delays early.
  • Own documentation quality: ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and PRDs are clear, complete, and up to date before development kickoffs.
  • Validate feature quality: run and validate outputs during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm delivered features meet product requirements and quality standards before release.
  • Perform app audits: regularly audit JoyRide's apps for visual and copy consistency, and verify that redirection links are error-free and up to date.

What we're looking for

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in product management, business/product analysis, project coordination, or a related operations role
  • Strong attention to detail: comfortable digging into specs, documentation, and live apps to catch inconsistencies others might miss.
  • Solid written communication skills: able to write and structure clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and PRDs.
  • Organized and self-driven: able to track multiple releases, stories, and stakeholder inputs at once without dropping details.
  • Comfortable coordinating across teams (Engineering, Design, Ops, Marketing, Support) to gather feedback and unblock work.
  • Familiarity with product/project tools (e.g., Jira, Notion, Confluence, or similar) is a plus.
  • Interest in on-demand and fintech mobile applications
