What You'll Do

  • Undertake fault diagnosis for Incidents allocated within the Incident Management System (Compass).
  • Ensure that regular Incident updates are provided to the business as required by processes.
  • Ensure all network related Incidents are resolved in a timely manner calling upon the Senior Network Engineer to assist where needed or raise with the relevant Level 3 support teams.
  • Produce Post Incident Reports for P1/P2 incidents or as required by management.
  • Proactively identify worsening Incident or performance trends within the network and raise Problem tickets for the Senior Network Engineer to manage to resolution and closure.
  • Action all planned outage notifications received and inform the Service Desk of any significant planned outages that will occur during the documented site hours of operation.
  • Action BAU Service Requests.
  • Maintain theIP address register.
  • Ensure that the network asset register is kept up-to-date.
  • Provide on-call function on a shared rotational basis with the Senior Network Engineer.

Key Criteria

  • Strong foundation in Routing & Switching, with hands-on enterprise network experience
  • Solid experience with BGP; exposure to OMP and ISIS is a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless solutions
  • Practical knowledge of network security fundamentals, including:
    • Cisco ASA & Firepower Firewalls
    • Basic understanding of firewall policies and traffic inspection
  • Experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN; understanding of SD-WAN concepts and operations
  • Familiarity with RADIUS authentication and access control
  • Experience supporting MPLS and Internet carrier services
  • Experience using network management and monitoring tools such as:
    • SolarWinds, Lansweeper
    • Firepower Management Center (FMC), ASDM
    • Zscaler ZDX, Scrutinizer
    • Cisco vManage and vAnalytics

Work setup


  • Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00am3:00pm PHT) - Full time in the office during the first month, From the 2nd month, at least 2 days in the office
