Role Overview
The Junior Multimedia Designer will support Solviva's creative output by producing high-quality design and video assets for digital and print marketing campaigns. Working closely with the Design Lead, this person will handle creative work including social media graphics, presentations, video content, and marketing collateral. This role is perfect for someone early in their creative career who wants to grow their skills across design and multimedia in a mission-driven startup environment.
Design Production & Execution
- Create social media graphics, digital ads, video content, and visual assets for various marketing channels following brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Design presentation decks, marketing materials, and campaign assets that communicate Solviva's value proposition clearly and compellingly.
- Produce print collateral including brochures, flyers, and event materials as needed.
- Adapt and resize designs across multiple formats and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
Brand Support & Asset Management
- Work within established brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
- Organize and maintain design files, video assets, templates, and asset libraries for easy team access.
- Support the Design Lead in maintaining brand standards and improving creative processes.
Collaboration & Iteration
- Partner with the Marketing team members to understand design needs and deliver on brief.
- Incorporate feedback from Design Lead and stakeholders to refine designs, videos, and overall quality.
- Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas for campaigns and visual approaches.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Background
- 1-3 years of multimedia experience (internships, freelance, or full-time roles)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in graphic design, social media content, video editing, and digital marketing materials
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma; video editing skills and familiarity with video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar)
- Understanding of design fundamentals including typography, color theory, composition, and layout
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Receptive to feedback and eager to learn and grow as a multimedia artist
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital content requirements
Nice to Have
- Experience creating content for startups or tech companies
- Basic UI/UX design experiences or familiarity with web and app interface design
- Storyboarding experience for video planning and narrative development
- Basic animation skills (animated graphics, 2D animation)
- Interest in sustainability, renewable energy, or social impact work
