Key Account Manager
Overview
The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding Klaiya's client base and strengthening relationships with existing accounts. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building trust with decision-makers, and delivering customized digital marketing solutions that drive client success.
You will collaborate closely with Klaiya's internal marketing, creative, and web development teams to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients and new business opportunities across key industries (e.g., e-commerce, retail, services, B2B).
- Conduct outreach and prospecting to introduce Klaiya's suite of digital marketing services (SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Web Design, Email Marketing, etc.).
- Qualify leads by understanding their business objectives, marketing needs, and budget.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and sales activities using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Sales & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct persuasive presentations and propose tailored digital marketing strategies aligned with client goals.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Manage and monitor a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, SEO, and web) to ensure smooth client onboarding and campaign delivery.
Strategy & Reporting
- Develop and execute business development plans to meet or exceed sales targets and expand Klaiya's market presence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
- Provide feedback and insights to management to continuously improve service offerings and the client experience.
Client Retention & Growth
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Klaiya's digital marketing services.
- Foster long-term partnerships and position Klaiya as a trusted advisor in clients digital transformation journeys.
- Work with internal teams to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and overall client success.
Key Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience
- 13 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within a digital marketing agency or digital services environment.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and industry trends.
