Location: BGC, Taguig
Work setup & shift: Onsite | Dayshift

Position Purpose:

The Junior IT Specialist for End-User Computing (EUC) is responsible for providing technical support, managing hardware and software, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems that are directly used by employees within the organization. This role focuses on optimizing end-user devices and computing environments, ensuring that users have the necessary tools and technology to work efficiently while maintaining security and compliance. The IT Specialist will troubleshoot issues, manage IT equipment, and implement new solutions to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

The Junior IT Specialist for End-User Computing Group will be responsible for the following:
  • To provide 1st level technical support professionally, efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high degree of customer service.
  • Assist end users with requests related to their IT assets (e.g., issuing new hardware, upgrading software, troubleshooting).
  • Keep an accurate inventory of all IT assets (laptops, desktops, software licenses, mobile devices, etc.).
  • Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external customers and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
  • To log all handled IT requests and IT incidents in FreshService and maintain full documentation.
  • Adhere to the ITu0027s SLA commitments for IT Service Requests and IT Incidents that are recorded, tracked and documented in FreshService ITSM.
  • Adhere and comply with the assigned IT Shift Support schedule by the IT Supervisor and/or IT Manager for End-User Computing Group (EUCG) in alignment to the business needs of the company.
  • Provide assistance to IT peers to help complete IT projects, initiatives and activities and to help resolve IT issues.
  • To maintain user security on all systems as per the company policy.
Key Skills and Capabilities:
  • Listens well and understands client concerns and requirements to properly identify issues and formulate solutions.
  • Builds strong relationships and work collaboratively with clients and organizational peers.
  • Address and resolve conflict constructively.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • Maintains service quality under time pressures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products & solutions, cloud computing and strategic direction is required.
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Protection systems or similar AV/Antimalware platforms.
  • Experienced in setting up and troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Experienced in using remote assistance tools.
  • Conceptual knowledge of IP networks and core IP applications (DNS, NTP, FTP, etc.) and telecommunications, and their interplay in an IT computing environment.
  • Complete understanding and working experience in ITIL and information security compliant/oriented environment.
Qualifications and Typical Experience:
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of computer system experience.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bacheloru0027s/College Degree or IT-related course
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems with emphasis on desktops/endpoint setups.
  • Should exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in client relationship and Account management.
  • Analytical and team management skills are a must.
  • Call Center / BPO / SI / Provider work experience is highly preferred.
Other Position Requirements:
  • Shifting schedules and additional hours may be required aligned to the business needs.
  • Required to report to work if shift schedule falls on a holiday.
