The Junior HR and Admin Associate will provide day-to-day support in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, timekeeping, and HR administration. This role is ideal for individuals starting their HR career and looking to gain hands-on experience in core HR practices.
Work setup: Hybrid (2-3 times a week onsite/ if needed)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and referrals.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with applicants and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial screenings and reference checks.
- Handles new hire orientation
2. Employee Records & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR databases.
- Support in monitoring attendance, leaves, and timekeeping reports.
- Assist in preparing HR documents such as contracts, memos, and certifications.
3. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Help organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Support HR in administering surveys and gathering employee feedback.
- Provide basic assistance to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and policies.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and labor laws.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics.
