Role and responsibilities
• Understands the brief and design requirements from clients / stakeholders
• Accomplishes the design requirements based on standards of quality and excellence
• Delivers artwork according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Works according to established production flow and process tools
• Regularly coordinates with team leads / stakeholders, and sends updates on project progress
• Takes on diverse types of design projects – Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,
MS PowerPoint, Word
• Manages time and workload to accommodate quick revisions and turnaround
• Prepares the pre-press package of final artwork
• Works effectively with colleagues and takes on extra projects when necessary
Preferred qualifications
• Degree/diploma in Multimedia Arts / Fine Arts / Advertising / Marketing / Communication Arts
or any relevant discipline
• 3-5 years of print design experience as a regular or freelance graphic artist in a Publishing / Advertising /
Marketing / Media / similar company
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
• Background in pre-press production (Artworking)
• Impressive design portfolio demonstrating significant multi-page layout samples in
InDesign and PowerPoint
• Strong graphic design sense and layout skills
• Creative, analytical and strategic in work approach
• Reliable technical skills to work on design projects efficiently
• Can think on his/her feet and execute design project with urgency
• Stickler for day-to-day deadlines
• High attention to detail including day-to-day workflow and processes
• Very flexible in carrying out diverse design projects
• A good command of the English language
• Able to articulate thoughts and ideas to the team
• Confident in communicating and coordinating with foreign counterparts and stakeholders
• Able to handle expectations with minimal supervision
• Comfortable to work on North America hours
• Mac proficiency is a plus
