Deal flow support: Assist the investments team in sourcing, evaluating, and tracking deal flow across the Philippine market.
Portfolio monitoring: Support the investor relations team in preparing quarterly and annual reports, tracking KPIs, and keeping materials accurate and timely.
Value creation & exit strategy: Coordinate directly with portfolio companies to identify growth levers, strategic opportunities, and potential exit pathways.
Regional collaboration: Work with Gobi's regional team to identify synergies and cross-portfolio opportunities across the broader Asian ecosystem.
Sustainability: Assist the Head of Sustainability in completing annual sustainability reporting across the regional Gobi portfolio
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience (audit experience is preferred)
Strong business and investment acumen with analytical skills; and financial analysis for investment projects
Superior written and verbal communication skills (in English) with demonstrated ability to think strategically and synthesize complex issues (translated into effective oral and written briefs)
Ability to collaborate with other team members and contribute productively to the team's work and output, demonstrating respect for different points of view
Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
Genuine curiosity for startups, technology, and the Philippine venture ecosystem
Prior exposure to private equity, venture capital, or investment banking is a plus
