Your Role

As an AU Junior Draftsman / Estimator, you are responsible for:

• Duties and Responsibilities:Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed bills of quantities, including material wastage allowances.
• Develop supporting drawings such as slab mapping and other project documentation.
• Source material prices from suppliers and calculate project costs.
• Prepare cost summaries and presentation materials for client review.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through ongoing learning.
• Qualifications:12 years of experience in architectural drafting and estimating (preferably stone or structural components).
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and producing residential and commercial architectural plans.
• Skilled in AutoCAD; experience with Bluebeam preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and cost calculations.
• Competencies and Personal Attributes:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Technically proficient with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Adaptable to new tools, technologies, and workflows.
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn.
• Experience with SketchUp is an advantage.
