Job Description

About the Role

Responsible for the preparation of the Letter Approval Advice, checklist of documentary requirements and standard loan documents for approved credit facilities, collateral recording, setting-up of limits in the FBEQ, updating and creation of the documentary checklist and review of the sent documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance to the credit policies/regulatory requirements.

How you'll contribute

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking

1. Reviews and ensures completeness, accuracy, legal sufficiency, and enforceability of the signed and submitted credit and collateral documents.

2. Setting-up of credit facilities, credit limits and other vital details in the Fusion Banking Experience (FBEQ) platform.

3. Secures legal opinion from Legal Division on the acceptance of the risks and clarification on certain accounts and for the preparation of the non-standard documents to ensure the bank's interest is protected.

  • Information / Records Administration

1. Transmits the originally signed copies of the loan and collateral documents to Central Records Department (CRD) for safekeeping.

2. Scans and uploads credit and collateral documents to the Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) platform.

3. Safekeeps vital documents in the vault for accounts pending for notarization and/or mortgage registration

4. Conducts physical inventory of credit and collateral documents safekept in Central Records Department (CRD) periodically or as needed.

  • Process Improvement

1. Reviews existing processes and recommends amendments / enhancements for continuous process improvement.

2. Coordinates with the Section Head and/or Unit Head any clarification on and/or recommendation for revision on the policy.

3. Suggests process improvements and enhancements either on the existing system/processes or new system ideas/proposals for ease of doing the tasks.

What we're looking for

  • Years of Related Experience: Fresh graduate / One (1) year of experience
  • Educational Attainment: Bachelor's / College Degree
  • Field of Study: Business Studies /Administration /Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Legal Management
  • Industry: Banking, Law/Legal, Leasing/Financing Institutions
  • Competencies: Microsoft Office applications. Experience in credit documentation is an
  • advantage.
  • Analytical and meticulous. Good people skills. Good oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptive person, organized. goal oriented, excellent work attitude, collaborator, eager to learn and innovative
