What You'll Do

  • Design polished screens and simple journeys that communicate ideas clearly (e.g., homepage concepts, supporting pages, product/service explainers).
  • Create style tiles, UI explorations, and clickable prototypes to sell and validate directions.
  • Build lightweight component libraries to keep work consistent and fast.
  • Prepare stakeholder-ready outputs: clean exports, clear versioning, and tidy Figma files.
  • Design performance-ready creative across placements and ratios (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) including static, carousel, and short-form video where applicable.
  • Produce variant sets for testing (hooks, headlines, imagery treatments, CTAs) while keeping brand and message hierarchy tight, and collaborate with Performance to interpret results and iterate creative based on learnings.
  • Apply platform best practice: legibility, safe zones, first-frame impact, and clear call-to-action.
  • Use AI to accelerate concept exploration (moodboards, visual directions, layout explorations, copy angles).
  • Use AI to scale production (batch resizing, background removal, upscaling, caption variants, templating) with consistent quality control and apply judgement and governance: ensure outputs are on-brand, accurate, and compliant (including respecting IP and usage rights).

Key Criteria

  • A portfolio (student, personal, or internship) showing strong visual craft in digital design ideally including both UI screens and advertising/creative outputs.
  • Solid fundamentals: typography, spacing, layout/grid, hierarchy, and composition.
  • Working knowledge of UX basics (clarity of flows, navigation patterns, accessibility and responsiveness fundamentals).
  • Confidence in Figma (Auto Layout, components/variants, styles, prototyping).
  • Comfortable iterating quickly and taking feedback; strong attention to detail and file hygiene.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI-enabled design workflows; able to explain how you used AI in your process.
  • Basic HTML/CSS literacy or interest in how designs translate to build.
  • Exposure with motion/editing basics (After Effects, Premiere, CapCut, or similar), Adobe CC familiarity (Photoshop/Illustrator) for compositing and production, and exposure to creative testing concepts (hooks/angles, modular creative systems, rapid iteration) are nice to haves.

Work setup:

  • Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00am–3:00pm PHT) with a fully remote setup.
