Junior DevOps Engineer (Telecommunications)

Overview

The Junior DevOps Engineer supports telecom operations by assisting in automation,

monitoring, and deployment processes for network systems, OSS/BSS applications, and cloud

infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

● Support CI/CD pipelines for telecom applications (OSS/BSS, NMS, provisioning

systems).

● Assist in automation scripts for network operations and routine tasks.

● Support deployment of microservices or VNFs/CNFs in 4G/5G environments.

Monitor system performance and alarms via NMS tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana).

● Help troubleshoot basic incidents under supervision.

● Maintain documentation for build, deployment, and configuration processes.

Qualifications

● 0–1+ years experience in DevOps or IT.

● Basic understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and Git.

● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or private telco cloud (OpenStack).

● Knowledge of containers (Docker) is a plus.

● Strong willingness to learn telecom-specific systems (OSS/BSS, NMS).
