CPI is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to help manage, maintain, and optimize database systems supporting our internal teams and clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their DBA career looking to build strong foundational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
- Perform routine backups, restores, and basic performance monitoring
- Support troubleshooting of database issues and escalate complex problems as needed
- Help implement database security and access controls
- Assist with data migration, cleanup, and documentation tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Preferably w/ 6 months of experience as Junior Database Administrator
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with at least one DBMS (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Fresh graduates with relevant coursework or certifications are welcome to apply
