Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Junior Crypto Lawyer with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience and a strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, digital assets, and fintech regulation. This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to build a career in one of the fastest-growing areas of law while supporting international clients operating in the Web3 and digital asset ecosystem.
The successful candidate will assist senior lawyers in advising on regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, corporate matters, and legal issues affecting cryptocurrency businesses, blockchain projects, exchanges, and fintech companies. Experience working with international clients or cross-border legal matters will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities- Conduct legal research on cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, and digital asset regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including service agreements, technology agreements, token-related documentation, and partnership contracts.
- Support clients with regulatory compliance, licensing, AML/KYC obligations, and corporate governance matters.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting digital assets, virtual asset service providers (VASPs), and blockchain businesses.
- Assist with company formations, corporate restructuring, and governance documentation for crypto and fintech companies.
- Prepare legal memoranda, compliance reports, and client advice under the supervision of senior lawyers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical legal solutions in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate legal documentation.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and admission to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction.
- 1–3 years of legal experience in corporate, commercial, fintech, financial services, technology, or regulatory law.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, fintech, or digital assets.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple matters while working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience with cross-border legal work is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations, virtual asset regulations, financial services law, or data privacy laws is considered a strong plus.
