Junior CPA - Junior Finance Controller (Remote - Night Shift)

Sigma Energy is a small group of companies headquartered in Canada, with subsidiaries / related entities in 4 countries specilized in providing industrial equipment solutions, including export, sales, repairs, remanufacturing, rental, and inspection of industrial equipment and spare parts.

We are looking for a Junior but smart CPA to be fast tracked to act as Junior Finance Controller / Senior Finance and Accounting Officer to handle day-to-day accounting and financial planning for main group entity and couple of subsidiaries, ensure accurate reporting across entities, and prepare consolidated financial statements, forecasts, and business plans.

Key Responsibilities and time allocation:

1. Hands-on Bookkeeping and Accounting in Quickbooks and Odoo: 35%

2. Financial Reporting and multi-entities Consolidation mostly in Excel: 30%

3. FP&A Financial Planning and Analysis: 35%

Qualifications:

Must have successfully passed CPA exam in country of origin.

Willing to work night shift to overlap with North American hours.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.35 years of experience in accounting and finance (multi-entity or international exposure preferred).

Good knowledge in QuickBooks Online (required).Advanced Excel skills Experience in financial statement preparation, multi-entity consolidation, and budgeting.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
