Job Description
We are currently looking for a Junior Cost Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for engineering graduates or early-career professionals who are looking to build a strong foundation in cost estimation, technical coordination, and project support.
You will work closely with our Sales, Engineering, and Procurement teams, gaining hands-on experience in preparing accurate and competitive quotations that directly contribute to business success.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare preliminary cost estimates for standard pump models
Develop accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements
Review and validate Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
Coordinate with procurement for updated pricing and product availability
Assist in costing, quotation processing, and purchase order validation
Work with Sales and Technical teams to gather necessary project details
Prepare and maintain technical and financial documentation
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all quotations for future reference
Qualifications
Graduate of any Engineering course (Fresh graduates are welcome)
Undergraduate applicants with at least 1 year relevant experience may also apply
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with good time management
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Basic knowledge of pumps and motors is an advantage but not required
