The role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing construction materials, equipment, and New Store Openings (NSO) supplies for restaurant and facility projects. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and strong supplier partnerships to support the company's expansion and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, fixtures, and MRO supplies for restaurant and facility projects
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service standards
- Request, review, and analyze quotations and proposals
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites and warehouses
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
- Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts
- Monitor supplier performance, including delivery timelines, quality, and compliance
- Resolve supplier-related issues and escalate concerns when necessary
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with operations and warehouse teams
- Support cost-saving initiatives and budget control strategies
- Track material usage and prevent overstocking or shortages
Project Coordination
- Work closely with construction, maintenance, and operations teams
- Review blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings to ensure correct material sourcing
- Coordinate procurement schedules with project timelines
- Conduct vendor and site visits when required
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, contracts, and pricing
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams for billing and payment processing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in construction procurement, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry
- Licensed Engineer
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience in vendor and contract management
- Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and MRO supplies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP system experience is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Open to work in Makati or field work/ based on the project locations.
