What you'll do
The Junior Business Development Executive is a performance-driven acquisition specialist responsible for securing new clients within residential and commercial zones, specifically targeting and closing contracts with Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and Property Management Offices (PMOs) for the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP). This role requires independence in the field, excellent presentation skills, and strict adherence to administrative compliance.
You will:
Field Execution and Sales Support (Primary)
- Conduct initial fieldwork, site surveys, and information gathering visits to prospective communities to assess feasibility and energy usage profile.
- Act as the direct liaison between the company and community representatives to ensure required onboarding documents are collected accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and attend community meetings (evenings/weekends) as necessary to achieve client acquisition goals.
- Facilitate logistical arrangements for community meetings (booking venues, setting up equipment, distribution of materials).
Lead Generation and Follow-up
- Actively research, identify, and qualify potential HOA/PMO leads within the assigned territory, adding them to the sales pipeline.
- Implement cold outreach strategies (calls, emails, site visits) to secure appointments and generate new business opportunities.
- Execute follow-up calls and emails with initially contacted leads to maintain engagement and secure appointments for senior staff.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all client interactions, communications, and lead progress in the company.
Administration and Compliance
- Provide comprehensive weekly reports detailing fieldwork activities, lead qualification status, and administrative progress.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for client onboarding (e.g., draft Retail Supply Contracts).
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales support, account management, or field/customer service role is preferred.
- Exposure to the energy, utilities, real estate, or B2C services sector is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in speaking to small groups, fluent in Tagalog and English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance fieldwork with administrative duties.
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented.
- High comfort level with fieldwork and travel within the assigned territory.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends) for client and community meetings.
- Proficiency in navigating public/ride-share transportation for business travel.
- Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite
