JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, or related field.

• Experience in business analysis, system implementation, project coordination, or regulatory technology projects.

• Working knowledge of system integration, data mapping, UAT/SIT, process documentation, and vendor management.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills. Exposure to banking systems, accounting processes, or regulatory reporting systems is an advantage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Coordination and Governance

o Coordinate project activities among ACCTG, EDP, business units, vendor, and other stakeholders.

o Monitor project plans, milestones, issues, risks, action items, and deliverables.

o Support project documentation, approvals, status reporting, and governance requirements.

2. Business and Regulatory Requirements Management

o Gather, document, and validate business, operational, and regulatory requirements.

o Assist in facilitating workshops and discussions with revenue-generating departments to identify process flows, gaps, and required system functionality.

o Review functional and technical design documents to confirm alignment with business requirements.

3. Data Mapping, Data Cleansing and System Integration

o Coordinate identification of source systems and required invoice data fields.

o Perform and coordinate data cleansing activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of customer, transaction, and invoice-related data required for eInvoicing and BIR EIS reporting.

o Identify data quality issues, missing information, duplicate records, and mapping gaps, and work with business units to resolve them.

o Manage transaction-to-invoice data mapping between source systems, the eInvoicing platform, and the BIR EIS.

o Work with EDP and the vendor to support integration activities, interface development, and end to-end validation.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance

o Develop and coordinate SIT, UAT, and BIR Sandbox testing activities.

o Prepare test scenarios, validate results, track defects, and monitor remediation efforts.

o Coordinate business-user participation and support testing sign-offs.

5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management

o Serve as the primary day-to-day contact between MUFG and the vendor.

o Track vendor deliverables, project dependencies, and issue resolution.

o Coordinate regular status meetings and progress reporting.

6. Process Documentation and Training

o Assist in developing operating procedures, user guides, process documentation, and controls.

o Coordinate end-user training and knowledge transfer activities.

o Support readiness and transition to business-as-usual operations.

7. Post-Go-Live Support

o Monitor production issues, enhancement requests, and vendor support activities during stabilization and warranty periods.

o Coordinate issue analysis, root cause investigation, and resolution tracking.

o Support continuous compliance with evolving BIR requirements.
