Job Description

The Junior Branch Ambassador advocates and promotes the use of digital banking channels, self-service machines, and other digital initiatives to enhance customer experience. Responsible for deposit account servicing and transaction processing while creating positive client interactions that foster loyalty and generate referrals for the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote and assist customers in using digital channels such as UBOnline App, The Portal, SME Business Banking App, selfservice machines, and other online banking platforms.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback within the standard turnaround time.
  • Project a professional and efficient banking image through proper conduct, appearance, and personalized handling of client transactions.
  • Stay fully knowledgeable of all bank products and services and proactively crosssell or endorse clients to Relationship Managers when needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and reports while maintaining compliance with bank policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Identify and report inconsistencies or operational issues including cash handling variances or policy deviations to supervisors.
  • Participate in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) activities and assist as a reliever or alternate during contingencies.
  • Support platform functions by assisting in account opening requirements, validating documents, ensuring correct fees and charges, and verifying transaction accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information (RA 1405), uphold branch operational targets, and ensure proper upkeep of assigned work areas.
  • Promote teamwork and positive workplace culture by actively participating in employee engagement and branch activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, open to fresh graduates and entrylevel applicants.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
  • Techsavvy and comfortable using digital platforms, mobile apps, and basic office software.
  • Detailoriented, adaptable, and able to work in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment.
