About The Role
You'll own the numbers end-to-end — from invoices and reconciliations to reporting and compliance — making sure the business always has a clear financial picture.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
- Process supplier and client invoices
- Manage AP/AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
Bank Transactions & Reconciliation
- Process daily bank transactions
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Monitor and track cash flow movements
Financial Reporting & Analysis Support
- Prepare financial and management reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support financial analysis and reporting requirements
Financial Records Management & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records
- Ensure transactions are properly classified and recorded
- Support compliance with accounting standards and reporting deadlines
Systems & Process Support
- Maintain accounting systems and financial data
- Support process improvements and workflow efficiency
- Assist with finance-related system updates and tasks
Stakeholder Communication, AI Readiness & Digital Enablement
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve financial queries and discrepancies
- Ensure clear and timely communication across all stakeholders
- Use approved AI and digital tools in line with company policies and data privacy standards
- Validate AI outputs and apply professional judgment in all work delivered
- Complete required AI training and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and smart technology
What Will Make You Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1 year experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or general accounting
- CPA/CA certifications are advantageous
- Experience in MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP or similar accounting software; Excel
- Basic understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
