Key duties

  • Accounts Payable: enter bills, match supporting docs, code to GL/cost centres, correct GST treatment, prepare payment runs for approval, reconcile supplier statements
  • Accounts Receivable: raise invoices, allocate receipts, chase missing remittance info, maintain aged debtors, send reminders (only as authorised), escalate long-outstanding items
  • Reconciliations: bank, credit card, clearing/suspense, investigate unmatched items, maintain reconciliation workpapers
  • Payroll support: timesheet validation, prepare payroll inputs, basic hours and leave calculations under supervision, STP prep support where relevant, escalate anomalies
  • Expense allocations: validate claims, allocate to accounts/projects, manage recurring costs, assist with job costing allocations
  • Month-end support: journals as directed, accruals/prepayments schedules support, draft reporting packs for review, fixed asset register upkeep, BAS readiness support
  • Practice admin: inbox/task board monitoring, digital filing, workflow updates, weekly status reporting, SOP documentation, onboarding support for new client files

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles
  • Proven working experience in Australian based-company
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in using Xero highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in using MYOB is highly preferred
  • Understanding of Australian financial regulations, awards, and tax compliance
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks effectively
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools
  • Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently

This role is subject to a number of skills and possible online practical tests.

This position is an onsite role at our Pampanga office in Sto. Domingo, Angeles City. Candidate must be willing to work on-site.
