As a Junior Auditor, you are the investigative engine of the audit process. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in Australian auditing who is ready to scale their expertise. You won't just be checking boxes; you'll be learning to identify risks, verify financial integrity, and contribute to high-level engagements that support the transparency of global businesses.
Your Impact
Ownership of Audit Sections: Take responsibility for specific audit segments, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed with precision. You will move beyond theory to apply practical audit methodologies under the mentorship of seasoned seniors and managers.
Architect of Documentation: Prepare high-quality audit workpapers and perform substantive testing. You will draft critical documentation, including lead schedules and compliance checklists, ensuring every file tells a clear and accurate story of the client's financial health.
Strategic Team Collaborator: Work hand-in-hand with the audit team to ensure engagements are completed within strict Australian lodgment windows. Your role is vital in maintaining the workflow and ensuring that testing results are communicated clearly to leadership.
Digital Audit Expert: Utilize specialized audit software to document findings and generate reports. By mastering these tools early in your career, you will drive efficiency and accuracy in every engagement you touch.
What You Bring
The Experience:1-2 years of dedicated Australian audit experience is required. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and are eager to pursue further professional certification.
Technical Foundation: Proven ability to prepare audit workpapers and perform testing under supervision. You have a working knowledge of audit software and understand the structure of lead schedules and checklists.
The Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You are a clear communicator and a proactive team player who can manage your time effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
