Role Overview

The Junior Architect – BIM will support the delivery of global workplace projects through Revit-based modelling, technical documentation, and coordination workflows, with a strong focus on production support. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational BIM knowledge who are looking to strengthen their experience in production workflows and global project delivery.

The role focuses on high-volume, fast-paced project execution, working closely with regional teams across North America and other global offices.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Support

  • Support layout development and documentation for workplace projects based on design inputs.
  • Assist in preparing Revit-based drawings, schedules, and models, with SketchUp used as a supporting tool for visualization.
  • Translate design inputs into coordinated BIM models under guidance from senior team members.

BIM & Coordination

  • Assist in model coordination and integration using Revit and ACC/BIM360/Forma workflows.
  • Support clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination with MEP and other disciplines.
  • Maintain model accuracy, data consistency, and adherence to BIM standards.

Documentation & Deliverables

  • Support preparation and updating of technical drawing sets in a fast-paced environment handling frequent revisions, updates, and coordination tasks across multiple project streams.
  • Ensure drawings meet quality standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Work closely with senior team members to implement design changes, updates, and coordination requirements efficiently within project timelines.
  • Support the use of AI tools (e.g. for documentation, and workflow support) to enhance design and technical workflows.

Learning & Development

  • Participate in internal training on BIM workflows, workplace standards, and AIBIM processes.
  • Build understanding of global project delivery standards and best practices.
  • Stay open to learning new tools, workflows, and technologies.
  • Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools to enhance design and technical workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior projects
  • Exposure to workplace or interior projects is preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit for modelling and production documentation (required)
  • Basic understanding of technical design and construction documentation workflows
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp is an advantage
  • Exposure to ACC/BIM360/Forma or similar BIM collaboration tools is a plus
  • Exposure to or willingness to explore AI tools (e.g., for documentation and workflow support) is an advantage.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
