Junior AP/ Expense Analyst

About the Role

As a Junior AP/ Expense Analyst, you will be responsible for timely and accurate processing invoices and completeness and accuracy of supporting documents, and accounting entries. The jobholder should ensure accurate accounting entries, application of applicable taxes and compliance to existing Bank policies and existing Service Level Agreement (SLA's).

How you'll contribute

• Safeguard the Bank by ensuring timely and accurate processing of disbursement request /invoices
• Prepares accounting entries/tickets/TTAF/debit memos for AP transactions and Spreadsheets for posting to FBEQ, and Oracle ERP.
• Ensures that the Treasury Division are advised via email of the spot/record the FCDU transaction for FX Position
• Ensures that maintenance of accounting records is in accordance with the established Record Information and Management (RIMS)
• Performs process review and improvement through updating manuals of procedures, policies, and Service Level Agreements
• Provides timely and accurate information to queries of Internal and External Customers
• Ensures that controls to mitigate risks are being observed in all work processes being performed. Complies with the unit's policies and procedures.
• Other tasks/duties that may be assigned from time to time including enterprise and FINCON initiated projects

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related field
• With accounting or relevant work experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
