Digital Bakery is looking for an aspiring Junior Accounting Associate to join our growing finance team.
The Junior Accounting Associate will support the finance team in delivering accurate and timely accounting services. This role involves assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping, processing financial transactions, supporting VAT and tax reporting, and maintaining organized financial records. This position is ideal for a junior accounting professional who is eager to further develop their accounting skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate recording of invoices and transactions
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and perform regular balance reconciliations
- Assist in preparing VAT returns, tax reports, and other regulatory filings
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with Belgian accounting standards and client requirements
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- At least 1 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Basic knowledge of Belgian accounting principles and VAT regulations is an advantage, but not required
- Experience with accounting software such as Exact Online, Clearfacts, or similar systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative

Compensation: PHP 18,000 - 25,000 per month
