It is an independent member of the BDO Alliance USA, a nationwide association of independently owned local and regional accounting, consulting and service firms with similar client service goals.

We are seeking a dedicated tax professional to join our team. We expect our seniors to exhibit excellent technical skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

The main responsibilities of a Junior Accountant include:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with daily accounting transactions.
  • Perform bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Support payroll processing, including payroll-related reports and adjustments.
  • Review transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Provide accounting reports and support to management and other departments.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in bookkeeping and general accounting processes.
  • Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, monthly reporting, AP, and AR.
  • US accounting or US client experience is a strong advantage.
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or similar accounting software is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Willing to work 100% remotely on an 8:00 PM–5:00 AM EST schedule.
