What You'll Do

Perform transaction-level reconciliation of IQWare reports against the accounting records in QuickBooks for Bay Street Marina Limited (BSM).
Review IQWare reports and identify differences, missing transactions, duplicate transactions, and other reconciling items.
Trace transactions to supporting documentation where necessary to determine the reason for variances.
Maintain detailed reconciliation schedules showing the transactions reviewed, variances identified, and status of outstanding items.
Assist in reconciling Accounts Receivable and revenue-related accounts, including dockage income and other income streams generated through IQWare.
Ensure that identified reconciling items are properly documented and escalated for review when further investigation or clarification is required.
Assist in bringing the IQWare reconciliation and related account balances up to date based on the assigned timeline.
Assist with other accounting-related tasks and data analysis as required, depending on the progress and priorities of the reconciliation work.
Assist with reviewing and organizing supporting documents and accounting schedules.
Perform other related accounting support tasks that may be assigned during the project.

What You'll Bring

Background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related field
Experience with account reconciliations and transaction-level analysis
Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large financial datasets
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies and unusual transactions
Experience comparing and reconciling data across different reports or systems
Familiarity with QuickBooks is an advantage
Familiarity with IQWare or similar property/marina management software is an advantage
Experience with AR, revenue reconciliations, or accounting support is preferred
