What You'll Do in the Role

• Data Entry: code and enter documents
• Liaise with client staff e.g. transaction enquiries; expense receipts etc.
• Enter and monitor monthly reoccurring General Ledger Journals
• Reconcile Accrual accounts
• Process monthly Statement Reconciliations
• GST returns preparation and filing
• Reconcile clients bank and credit card accounts
• Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss account reconciliations
• Reconciliation of Intercompany accounts
• Financial Statement reports and analysis
• Various accounting support tasks as required
• Maintain transparent communication with client managers regarding the progress with client's accounts

Skills /Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 years related work experience for Junior accountant
• 2 years related work experience for senior accountant
• Knowledge of basic accounting
• Experience working for a New Zealand/ AU accounting is required.
• Experience in using Xero accounting software is nice to have.
• Must be attentive to details and a fast learner.
• Can easily adapt to new processes and technologies.
• With a good attitude, show initiative and drive.
• Ability to work independently and can collaborate with a team.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

The work set up for Junior is onsite, and for Senior is once a month onsite.
