Job Description

Our client company, Halia, is looking for a Junior Accountant who will ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, inventory-related transactions, and financial reporting. The role is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle—from recording and reviewing transactions to preparing financial statements—while maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

The position also includes reviewing, verifying, and consolidating Receiving Reports (RR), Delivery Receipts (DR), Sales Invoices (SI), and other supporting documents submitted by the Inventory Analyst and Warehouseman to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records and financial reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes and monitors payables and receivables.
  • Performs regular bank and account reconciliations.
  • Reviews, checks, and consolidates Receiving Reports, Delivery Receipts, Sales Invoices, and other supporting documents submitted by the Inventory Analyst and Warehouseman.
  • Prepares accurate financial reports and financial statements to support management decision-making.
  • Handles inter-company transactions.
  • Assists in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Contributes to improving accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and data reliability.
  • Plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial information and supporting organizational performance through timely and insightful financial analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • With 2–3 years of experience as an Accounting Generalist or in related accounting functions.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation, inventory accounting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Acumatica, SAP, QuickBooks) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with inter-company transactions, financial reporting, inventory monitoring, and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge in reviewing and consolidating inventory-related documents such as Receiving Reports (RR), Delivery Receipts (DR), and Sales Invoices (SI) is an advantage.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and accountability in handling confidential financial information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality financial standards.
