Role Description

The Jr. Sous Chef will play a critical role in ensuring food quality, preparation, and presentation meet the restaurant's standards. Responsibilities include assisting in menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring food safety compliance, and creating an efficient work environment. The role involves collaborating with senior chefs to consistently deliver high-quality dining experiences. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Laoag.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and recipe execution
  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience in menu development and creating innovative dishes is a plus
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts, or relevant hands-on experience in a professional kitchen
