Position Overview

The Junior Sales Agent is a shipper-facing revenue role responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities under the leadership of the Sales Executive.

This is a pure sales position focused on prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing new shipper accounts. All freight execution, tracking, billing, and compliance functions are supported by an internal operations team.

This role is ideal for a sales professional with at least 3 years of experience seeking to grow into a senior, revenue- producing position within a structured brokerage environment.

Qualifications:

A qualified opportunity must include:

An identified decision-maker or strong influencer.

Confirmed freight modes and approximate shipment volume.

Key lanes or geographic regions.

Insight into incumbent carriers or broker relationships.

A clearly identified service gap, pricing issue, or growth trigger.

Defined timing for freight movement or bid cycles.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of professional sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.

A proven history of outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.

Experience using a CRM platform.

Exposure to the freight industry or TMS platforms is preferred.

Understands logistics, specifically freight brokerage business model, operations, and vernacular that will support positive engagement with potential shippers.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated, disciplined, and performance-driven

Excellent written and verbal command of the English language.
