Role Description
The Jr. IT Auditor is responsible for evaluating the technical aspects of the Company's projects. This role involves assessing technical controls, ensuring compliance with standards and commitments made in the project plans, and providing recommendations to enhance technical integrity and efficiency within project operations.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements technical audit plans, including project compliance audits and risk assessments;
- Reviews project plans, technical specifications, system architecture, and deployment processes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards;
- Identifies and evaluates technical and project-related risks and recommended appropriate mitigation measures;
- Assesses the adequacy and effectiveness of technical processes and controls throughout the project lifecycle;
- Ensures project activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, internal policies, and contractual/project commitments;
- Prepares clear and concise audit reports outlining findings, identified risks, and recommendations for corrective action and improvement;
- Monitors technological, regulatory, and industry developments and recommends necessary updates to policies, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related fields;
- Professional certifications (e.g CISA, CISSP, etc.) are highly preferred;
- At least one (1) year of experience in an IT auditing role, or any other relevant experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT auditing standards;
- Proficient in audit software and IT analysis tools;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Proven ability to demonstrate high integrity and ethical standards and to perform complex problem-solving and analysis.
