Job Roles and Responsibilities
Database Query Development
- Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Support the review and testing of database operations to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
Report Visualization
- Help design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Translate basic business requirements into visual insights.
- Maintain and update existing reports based on feedback and evolving needs.
- Optional familiarity with Power BI or Tableau (academic or project experience is acceptable).
Programming & Data Transformation
- Contribute to data processing and automation tasks using Python.
- Use Power Query to clean and transform data for reporting purposes.
- Support integration of data from multiple sources into reporting tools.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or currently pursuing).
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to Python programming and Power Query (M language).
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and basic web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of data analytics concepts and visualization best practices.
