Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jr. Engineer role based in Cabuyao, Laguna. The Jr. Engineer supports senior engineers in daily production and process engineering activities, including monitoring equipment performance, assisting in troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions. The role involves collecting and analyzing production data, preparing technical reports, and helping ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Jr. Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, process improvements, and line optimization. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining documentation, participating in audits, and contributing ideas for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Engineering Course (preferably ME, ECE, IE)
- With at least 6 months to 1 year experience in related field.
- Foundational engineering knowledge in electronics, electrical, industrial, or mechanical disciplines, supported by a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and apply them to production, testing, or process improvement activities.
- Basic skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and root-cause investigation for production or equipment issues.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices in an industrial or electronics environment.
- Proficiency in common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software) and willingness to learn specialized engineering or CAD software as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills, with the ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with operators, technicians, and other engineers on-site.
- Willingness to work on the production floor, adapt to shifting priorities, and participate in overtime or shifting schedules when required by operations.
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in a manufacturing, electronics, or engineering environment is an advantage but not required.
