About the Role:

The Jr. Engineer, Maintenance is responsible for sustaining equipment performance and capability to ensure quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met. The role ensures that manufacturing equipment is available for production and that performance and reliability are maintained at optimal levels.

The position also drives equipment improvement initiatives, supports capacity increases and package transfers, and provides technical guidance to enhance operational efficiency.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure maximum machine availability and optimal utilization to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Monitor and implement improvement projects to increase Machine MTBA (Mean Time Between Assists).
  • Support evaluation and introduction of new parts and equipment capabilities to enhance machine performance and production flexibility.
  • Review and approve equipment operating procedures to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
  • Ensure machines comply with all safety and quality requirements.
  • Conduct training for new equipment and share best practices with technicians.
  • Oversee spare parts management to ensure availability and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain hands-on knowledge of Backend Machines, including Final Test Handlers, Testers, and other automated machinery.
  • Support capacity increases, package transfers, and qualification of backup products within the plant site.
  • Perform other duties as required by the immediate superior.

What You Will Need:


  • BS Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics & Communications Engineering).
  • Proficiency in electro-pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Test process and equipment knowledge.
  • Statistical and problem-solving tools,
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Effective communication across all levels of the organization.
