Job Description:
The Junior Activation Executive is responsible for managing newly acquired properties from the point of onboarding through their successful activation and early-stage growth on the platform.
This role acts as the primary point of contact for new properties, ensuring that all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time, the property is properly set up on the platform, and the property is equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to generate bookings and achieve a successful launch.
The role combines account management, onboarding, coordination, training, and early-stage property performance management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Property Onboarding & Activation
- Serve as the main point of contact for newly acquired properties during the onboarding process.
- Guide properties through all onboarding requirements, documentation, system setup, and operational requirements.
- Ensure property information, room types, rates, availability, policies, photos, and other necessary details are complete and accurate before activation.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Revenue, Listing, Customer Service, Finance, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth property onboarding.
- Monitor onboarding progress and proactively follow up on pending requirements or issues.
- Ensure properties are launched within the agreed timeline.
2. New Property Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with newly onboarded property partners.
- Understand each property's business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Educate partners on how to effectively use the platform and available tools.
- Help properties understand platform processes, policies, promotions, pricing, availability management, and other relevant practices.
- Establish trust and confidence with partners during their first months on the platform.
3. Early-Stage Property Performance
- Monitor the performance of newly activated properties and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track key indicators such as bookings, room nights, occupancy, rates, availability, cancellations, and other relevant performance metrics.
- Identify potential issues that may prevent a property from gaining traction on the platform.
- Provide basic recommendations and action plans to help properties improve their performance.
- Follow up with partners to ensure agreed actions are implemented.
4. Training & Partner Education
- Conduct onboarding sessions and provide guidance to new properties on platform processes and best practices.
- Ensure partners understand their responsibilities and the tools available to them.
- Create or share relevant guides, FAQs, scripts, and other resources that can help partners become self-sufficient.
- Reinforce best practices based on common onboarding and activation challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Marketing, or any related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in account management, customer service, hospitality, sales, or operations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable communicating with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Organized and able to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data, reports, and basic performance metrics.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
