The Role
JIRA Administration
• Administering the new platform and providing training/workshops for JIRA users.
• Configurations of schemes via JIRA.
• Managing and resolving support issues types via JIRA.
• Managing updates on existing documents including the tractability spread sheets to convert in JIRA.
• Acting as the first point of contact for all JIRA escalations.
• Acting as the WTW JIRA contact for all relevant third parties
• Full time support for the Jira software, including some out of hours on-call support
• Proactively monitoring and managing the JIRA project.
• Managing software upgrades and communication with procurement team for maintenance planning
Best Practice
• Creating and designing project admin and ensuring all technical information and documentation is recorded, communicated and fully supported
• Develop and implement process improvements through the Operational Excellent Practice
• Rolling out best practice across the user community
• Sending Communications to users, notifying them of any issues or software upgrades required
Business Engagement
• Supporting scrum teams and functional leads with project management standards, templates, reporting and processes.
• Working with the OGB to determine the best solution and set up a new system of JIRA workflows
• Communicating with Scrum teams to ensure updates in JIRA are captured.
• Communicating with PMO team to show transparency around IT deliverables via JIRA.
• Providing training sessions for new joiners
The Requirements
Knowledge:
• Technical and Administrator knowledge of JIRA including JIRA Service Mgt and Confluence Cloud
• Experience of previous JIRA Administrator
• Knowledge of MS Office 365
• Knowledge and experience with ScriptRunner, Advanced JQL, basic Groovy/Python/Java scripting, Elements Copy and Sync, Jeti Email this Issue, Qtest, Jira Cloud Rest API (Nice to have not required)
