Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions with a primary focus on manufacturing business processes. This hands-on role requires expert proficiency in both E1 Orchestrator and core E1 development tools. The incumbent partners with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, supportable E1 configurations, customizations, reports, and integrations. The position coordinates technical delivery across the full solution lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, release, and production support.

Special Skills/Qualifications:E1 Orchestrator expertise is required. Advanced proficiency with Orchestrator Studio, including Orchestrations, Service Requests, Data Requests, Rules, Cross References, and White Lists, is required.

  • Core E1 development-tool expertise is required. Strong working knowledge of OMW, FDA, RDA, Table Design, ER, NER, and BSFN is required.
  • Requires significant understanding of manufacturing business processes, including work orders, bills of material, routings, shop floor control, inventory, material availability, and manufacturing costing.
  • Requires strong SQL and relational-data analysis skills. Experience with Groovy scripting within Orchestrator, AIS, JAS architecture, REST/SOAP services, APIs, and ERP integration practices is required or strongly preferred based on organizational need.
  • Requires exceptional orchestration skills: the ability to coordinate project sequencing, vendor handoffs, stakeholder decisions, testing, releases, and cross-functional technical dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate technical issues and tradeoffs effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Must be able to work independently, lead cross-organizational technical efforts, anticipate business needs, identify risks early, and act with sound judgment under tight deadlines.
