Java Software Engineer

You'll work with a team responsible for building the key APIs that power our award-winning online and mobile banking platforms. Your team has end-to-end ownership of the systems you build – this includes learning about the business, building and maintaining high quality software in a DevOps manner, helping automate its testing and delivery and, on occasion, provide production support for the broader team.

What you offer

• Hands-on experience with Java 11 or higher
• Hands-on experience with API technologies 
• Experience in automated unit and integration testing  
• Experience working with SQL and JPA 
• Experience working with XML or BeanShell 
• Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically 
• Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
• Basic scripting (such as python or Unix/Shell) 
• Prompt Engineering, working with AI tools
