Java Full Stack Engineer (12-month contract)

About the Company:

Our client is one of Singapore's leading technology services firms.

• Role: Java Full Stack Engineer (12-month contract)
• Remuneration: Up to SGD 8,000 per month
• Location: Singapore

Qualifications and Profile:

Work Experience:

• At least 5 years solid hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development
• At least 3 years in database like MS SQL Servers including SQL development
• UI Development using React but using Angular is a plus

Functional:

• Basic understanding of finance domain
• General banking, finance and investment banking understanding and knowledge

Technical:

• Java/J2EE ,Spring, Spring Boot, RESTFUL Webservices,
• Knowledge on both frontend and backend development
• Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance tuning
• Indepth knowledge on Relational databases – MS SQL Server, sql profiler, query analyzer
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins/GitLab or similar)
• Knowledge of API centric design

The following skills and experiences is a plus:

• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge with SPARK
