Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Java Developer role located in Taguig. The Java Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies. The role involves creating and maintaining microservices, implementing efficient programming solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver and optimize software solutions that align with Metrobank's standards and requirements. Ensuring software performance, scalability, and adherence to coding best practices is also a core responsibility.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Software Development and Programming concepts, with experience in Java application development
• Proficiency in using the Spring Framework and developing Microservices-based architecture
• Experience with SQL for database integration and management
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with the financial services or banking sector is a plus
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
