Java Developer

We are looking for Java Developers (Junior to Midlevel) to join Pointwest Innovations Corporation under the Financial Services Business Unit. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications that power innovative financial solutions. Developers will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality systems aligned with Pointwest's values of Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation, and our culture of Agility, Accountability, Innovation, Collaboration, and Customer Centricity.

Qualifications

Mid-Level Java Developer

• Experience: 3–5 years in Java development.
• Skills: Java 17, Spring Boot, REST API, JUnit, MS SQL (SOAP API, PL/SQL a plus).
• Soft Skills: Able to work independently on moderately complex tasks; collaborative and communicative.

Junior Java Developer

• Experience: 0–2 years 
• Skills: Solid Java foundation, familiarity with Spring Boot, REST API, JUnit, MS SQL.

Soft Skills: Eager to learn, adaptable, team-oriented, and open to feedback.
