Job Title: Java Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking a Java Developer to join a leading global IT and financial services account. In this role, you will build, modernize, and maintain enterprise backend systems and cross-platform frontend interfaces for large-scale retail systems.
Work Setup & Location
- Location: UP Technohub, Quezon City, Philippines
- Work Type: Hybrid | Day, Mid, and Night shifts available
- Headcounts to Fill: 30+
- Contract Duration: 12–36 months (Renewable / Extendable / Convertible to Full-Time employment based on satisfactory performance reviews and business needs)
- Sector / Industry: Various industries and client regions, to urgently fill 36 open projects
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, and maintain robust backend components using Java/J2EE core and Oracle DB.
- Develop responsive mobile/web application interfaces using React Native.
- Design and expose high-performing RESTful APIs for client applications.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize database routines on Oracle DB.
Basic Qualifications and Experiences
- Years of Experience: 5 to 8 years of software development experience with a strong focus on enterprise Java systems.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Skills Required (Minimum of 3/6): Java/J2EE Core, Oracle DB, React Native, Spring Boot Framework, RESTful API Design & Integration, SQL Optimization & Database Management
- Nice to Have Skills (Maximum of 3): Microservices Architecture, Git / Version Control Workflows, Agile / Scrum Methodologies
