Job Description

Deliver simultaneous interpretation during live events, conference calls, and presentations.
Provide consecutive interpretation in business meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
Ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness of all translations.
Prepare glossaries and terminology lists for technical or industry-specific topics.
Collaborate with teams and clients to maintain smooth communication flow.
Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, Communication, or related field.
Minimum 23 years of experience as an interpreter (simultaneous and consecutive).
Strong command of Japanese and English (Filipino proficiency is a plus).
Preferably holds JLPT N1/N2 certification or equivalent proficiency (not mandatory).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
