Japanese-English or Mandarin-English Speaking Senior Business Analyst / Product Analyst

We're looking for a highly analytical and product-oriented Senior Business Analyst / Product Analyst who is proficient in English plus either Japanese or Mandarin to drive requirements, solution design, and delivery alignment across a complex enterprise environment.

This role goes beyond traditional documentation. You'll play a key role in shaping solutions, influencing stakeholders, bridging communication across regional teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.

Drive Requirements & Solution Design

Elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into structured requirements. Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to shape practical and high-value solutions.

Facilitate Cross-Language Communication

Act as a communication bridge between English-speaking stakeholders and either Japanese-speaking or Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, ensuring requirements, decisions, clarifications, and delivery expectations are clearly understood across teams.

Own Backlog Quality & Readiness

Ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for delivery. Lead grooming sessions and maintain high standards for requirements quality.

Act as the Bridge Across Teams

Align business, product, and engineering teams. Resolve ambiguities, surface risks, and help remove blockers across the delivery lifecycle.

Support Delivery & Execution

Monitor implementation progress, participate in sprint ceremonies, support issue resolution, and ensure delivered outputs align with business expectations.

Work Across a Complex Ecosystem

Manage requirements across multiple interconnected systems, platforms, teams, and business processes.

Contribute to Best Practices

Help improve BA processes, templates, documentation standards, and ways of working across the team.

• Proficiency in English and either Japanese or Mandarin
• Strong experience in business analysis within Agile environments
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to think critically, challenge assumptions, and clarify ambiguity
• Experience working in complex, multi-system environments
• High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability
• Comfortable working mid to night shift

• Japanese proficiency certification such as JLPT N2/N1, or equivalent business proficiency
• Mandarin language certification, or equivalent business proficiency
• Experience in enterprise platforms
• Exposure to product thinking or product management
• Background in fintech, e-commerce, or high-transaction systems
• Experience working with distributed or regional teams

• Primarily remote with minimal on-site requirements
• Mid shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
