Summary: You will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Java Enterprise Edition, analyzing requirements, and designing efficient and scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Application Design & Development: Design and develop high-quality, scalable applications using Java Enterprise Edition, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Technical Documentation: Create technical specifications and design documents, outlining architecture and functionality.
- Code Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure maintainability and compliance with standards.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve application issues promptly and effectively.
- Service Request Management:
- Implement new functionalities/enhancements to the system.
- Translate functional requirements into code changes, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide support for service requests during SIT, UAT, and post-production deployment.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
- Must have 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)
- Experience in SQL for data manipulation and retrieval
- Experience in Batch Job Processing
- Experience in Struts 1 Framework
- Experience in Jasper Reports for report generation
- Experience in Hibernate ORM for object-relational mapping
- Experience in Web technologies: HTML, JSP, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
