YOUR ROLE
Operating under guidance from their manager/team lead, this role will be responsible for the delivery/support of information technology application and configuration of solutions as they relate to assigned business functions. Assist in maintaining and supporting IT applications/infrastructure/solutions in order to contribute to a first class IT Management Service for our operations.
Provides maintenance, monitoring and capacity planning of designated systems identifying trends or problems.
Ensure that applications are maintained in a manner that supports delivery of services to multiple platforms, resilience and performance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Applies standard IT methods, knowledge and CEVA standards and practices to tasks and situations related to providing application production support services
- Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response. Uses standard analytical tools and rules to determine root cause and resolve the broad range of application problems
- Supports single business/technical applications. (R&M run & maintain activities)
- Ability to configure SNOW (Service Now) to meet customer-specific requirements and will provide user support for the customer's user community. This role will use Service Now for configuration and minor development activities. This role expects to work with all the SNOW modules, perform minor custom development and create solutions
- Understands compliance and regulatory rules, ensures compliance as directed by manager. Participates and contributes to internal and external activities in relationship to production control, system and application controls, and systems monitoring
- Provide on-call support for assigned functional areas on a limited basis
- Ability to accommodate flexible work schedules to meet support levels
- With direct supervision, able to complete daily activities related to prioritization and expected delivery
- Works directly with CEVA business and other IT teams to understand, diagnose and resolve requests for assistance
- Ability to learn and comprehend complex tools and systems
- Participate in tuning, monitoring, and testing of applications
- Ability to create proper documentation of the tasks handled. Create Knowledge articles and streamline operational activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documenting SNOW configurations and submitting change requests to Change Advisory Boards (CABs).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business (or equivalent related field experience)
- ITIL Foundation
- 2-3 years of technical experience
- Experience in production support or implementation of IT services or projects
- Proficient in IT ticketing system, Service Request Management (SRM) and ITSM Suite to include Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management and Knowledge Management in SNOW
- Knowledge in functional domain or technology
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of ITSM Suite
- Knowledge of failover, deployment processes, change management, service management
